Apart from our Regular Lodge meetings, on the Fourth Tuesday in January, February, March, April, October and November, we also have Committee meetings, Rehearsal meetings, and most importantly Social meetings.
Our present Master W Bro Martin Walsh, who was onfirmed as Master for the second year at our meeting in January, has chosen his new team of Lodge Officers for the year ahead, and has made plans for each meeting. For the remainder of the year, we will be undertaking second & third degree ceremonies for our recently initiated members. Fortunately we have welcomed several new members, and anticipate being able to welcome more new initiates during the year. Our Worshipful Master has s full year ahead, and planning social events which can be attended by our Ladies, potential Candidates and non-Masons are always welcome. Further details will follow when finalised.
Any mason who would like to join us for any of our meetings should contact the Lodge Secretary
We have Members Social meetings mainly in the months that the Lodge does not meet officially, although if there is a need for an informal get-together, we will meet at any time suitable to the members and potential members. Our prospective candidates are invited to these meetings, so that we can get to know them, before we admit them as full members. Friends are welcome to join us - Further events will be publicised here when appropriate.
On some of our Official meeting dates, we invite our Ladies to join us at the meal which follows, known as the “Festive Board”. We also have an annual Ladies Evening, or sometimes weekends away, with the aim of including our wives, partners and families in Lodge affairs, so that they are involved and all know each other.
Our Installation meeting is in January when we Install our new Master for the year ahead. The other five meetings are filled at his discretion, either with ceremonies of Initiation (1st), Passing (2nd), Raising (3rd), or other talks or demonstrations of interest to the members and our visitors.
The 2017 meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Warwickshire was held at Freemasons Hall, London. Below is the group of Faith & Hope members with their partners and friends who dined at the Connaught Rooms after the meeting. This was a splendid day on which was held in London as part of the Grand Lodge Tercentenary celebrations.
The Lodge has recently held our Summer Lunch at the St Andrews Hotel, Droitwich, which raised £370 for the British Lung Foundation, and a good time was enjoyed by 70 members and guests. The pictures below show the Worshipful Master with some of his guests, and congratulating the chef on a splendid meal.
